Compliance and data

Built for licensed venues.

Clubs carry real obligations. Ravensend handles the technical side, so the right thing is the default.

Exclusions

Excluded members never see a promotion

Members your club marks as excluded, in your member database or on an exclusion list you keep, are left out of every promotional send and every game. The rule is applied before a send is built and can’t be overridden per campaign.

Where exclusions come from

Your member database, or an exclusion list you keep.

You stay responsible for your own obligations; Ravensend provides the mechanism.

Member data

Where member data comes from

Ravensend reads from the system that holds your member database, which for most clubs is the gaming system, and from your POS. You can build lists on that data. Who you send to, and why, is your club’s decision, along with the obligations that come with it.

Spam Act 2003

Every send can be unsubscribed from

On every sendSpam Act 2003
  • A working unsubscribe on every message, honoured straight away
  • One-click unsubscribe headers (List-Unsubscribe and List-Unsubscribe-Post, RFC 8058)
  • An accurate sender name and address
  • A plain-text version of every email
  • Unsubscribes written back to your connected systems where the system allows it
Your data

Your members’ data stays yours

To send to your members, Ravensend has to hold their personal details: names, contact details, birthdays and membership information. We treat that seriously, and your club stays in control of it.

Your club owns its member data

Export your members at any time

Closing an account removes its member, game and profile data

We never sell personal information

Who we rely on
